Desert Hills Bank

Joint Venture with Ted Robert Cooke, Architect
Contractor: B.P. Construction
Interior Designer: Katherine Moore

This project consisted of demolition, reconstruction, addition, and remodel of an existing 1970’s furniture store.

The main goal of this project besides providing the client with the required bank facility was capturing the towering Thunder Mountain (Capital Butte) view in Sedona.

Major design elements include massive red rock battered columns to recall the red cliffs, heavy timber, plate glass windows, and battered red stone veneer. From the interior, the tall fixed glass windows and the red rock columns makes a seamless transition to the red rock mountains.
